Generally, fully personalized ceremonies can take a minimum of 4- 6 weeks to create and write (except end-of-life ceremonies which usually have a shorter preparation time), so enough time needs to be allowed for this process. The earlier that the ceremony planning process begins, the more opportunity there is to really 'get it right' for you.
I encourage you to book your ceremony date early. There is a flat rate booking fee of $75 for this that is absorbed into the 50% deposit that is due when you sign the agreement for my services.The ceremony date booking fee can be paid before the 50% deposit is paid.
For weddings and similar events, I strongly advise you to arrange your rehearsal on-site at your chosen venue, if that is possible (and if a rehearsal is needed), and to also book this date with me(no additional fee) at the same time that you book your ceremony date.
Together with you, we plan the ceremony and its content through a deeply reflective and collaborative process that can be very transforming, and that adds meaning to and deeply enriches your ceremony.
I write the ceremony and your 'story' using your written and spoken responses. I do this by using your own words as much as possible.
You have the final say over your ceremony and its content.
My quality value-added service includes unlimited consultations, resources, music ideas, a rehearsal (if needed), complementary dress, a keepsake ceremony, and coordination with your ceremony professionals.
You also receive a folder which contains many ceremony ideas, vow and reading samples, and other helpful tips and information in planning your ceremony.
You will receive a written agreement that fully outlines the terms and conditions of my services.
