 7/22/2008 | | "In ref to above review", ColoradoCafe from Watchung, New Jersey | In reference to the review written above. Customer came in Friday night and used her debit card. The credit card company pre authorizes in the amount approx 20% over what is signed off on leaving room for a tip. That is done at every eating establishment. The customer came in all upset and was ranting and raving and demanded her money back. Money that we didn't owe her. The money is simply put on "hold". Not by us...but by the credit card company/financial institution.
The General Manager was not rude to her. She was yelling and trying to explain this to her. He took her to the front so she wouldn't disturb the rest of our customers.
Customers like that we don't want back. As a matter of fact, this person has been baned from our restaurant and club. |
