Camp Amity Acres owned and operated by Girl Scouts of Ocean County is located in Waretown. Camp Amity Acres includes 57 acres in the pinelands. Nature trails, a lake, playground, challenge course, nature and science center, four platform tent sites and Friendship Lodge a modern facility housing two dorms, two bathrooms with showers, two kitchens and a fireplace complete the camp. Camp Amity Acres is available for troop camping from September to June. Its location to the ocean and local amusement park makes it a favorite spot to camp.

| Offers troop camping opportunity, weekdays Monday through Thursday and weekends September through mid June. Lodge includes two dorms, two kitchens, two bathrooms with showers and a main room with fireplace. During summer day camp the lodge is used for administrative offices, the nurse's office and art room. |
