Their goal was to bring a new and exciting concept to Manhattan's restaurant scene; to open a restaurant that would serve every meal in the style of an Italian American wedding feast, extra large portions of home-style antipasto, pastas, seafood and meat entrees served on extra large platters designed for sharing. They wanted the perfect place to casually enjoy friends and family over great food and wine, and excellent service, the way it used to be at grandma’s house. I n December 2004 Carmine’s opened its first ever restaurant outside of New York City, at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City. The reports are now in and Carmines Atlantic City has immediately become a South Jersey Favorite.
