 8/1/2008 | | "Thumbsdown", An Eventective User from Houston, Texas | Our experience at Sunapee Harbor was similar to the first review. The cottages are clean but the Innkeeper is not accommodating...down right rude.
On the website it claims to be family friendly. This is far from the truth. In fact it is not "friendly" at all.
Two thumbsdown to Sunapee Harbor Cottages.

| 7/30/2008 | | "Stay Away At All Cost", An Eventective User from New York, New York | Every year I participate in a reunion with a large group. This year we held the event at the Sunapee Harbor Cottages and it was the worst lodging experience we have had as a group.
The cottages are advertised as waterfront and as family friendly, and they are decidedly neither. Guests can barely see the water from the cottages and they must cross a street and public park to reach the water. Upon arriving, guests discover that they are unable to swim in the harbor area.
Though billed as family friendly, the proprietor of the cottages makes every moment uncomfortable for the guests through her erratic and harassing behavior. Our group had not read reviews on independent websites prior to our trip, but after the trip we noted the many reviews at places like travelpost.com that made it clear our experience was not unique.
