 9/8/2011 | | "Awesome venue for a wedding, or anything else really!", An Eventective User from Keene, NH | | I got married at the Keene State College Camp on Wilson Pond in Keene, NH. It was awesome! For alumni the cost was only $150. Non alumini can rent it too, it's a little more money, but still so cheap for the place! There is plenty of room inside the venue, a nice stone fireplace, an enclosed porch overlooking the pond and a full kitchen, and outdoors there is a huge lawn, nice landscape, and a huge pavillion with an outdoor grill. There are about 10 picnic tables. There was more then enough parking for all of our guests, and everyone loved the venue. Around here, usually if you mention it, people all talk about how pretty it is there. I have also been to a birthday party, and a baby shower there. It's a venue you could use for just about anything, and it's so cheap! The kitchen was a big plus for catering. Our wedding pictures with us standing infront of the water came out amazing. And the younger children, when they were bored with the wedding all went for a swim. The venue is also off the main roads, but not a pain to get too. There aren't any neighboring houses or businesses. Just a cute cabin type house on a lake! It was very easy to rent for the day as well. All it took was a phone call to reserve, and a check was dropped off the day before when you pick up the keys for the place. |
