Representing a bold new era for the great American steakhouse, the sizzle of N9NE Steakhouse is hardly confined to the kitchen's 1,200-degree ovens. With its dazzling modern design, a menu diverse enough to include both sirloin and sashimi, and the world's coolest crowd of carnivores, N9NE Steakhouse generates a scene that redefines this beloved American dining institution. Housed in the Palms Casino Resort, N9NE Steakhouse is as cutting-edge and hip as the hotel that reshaped the Vegas scene.
N9NE Steakhouse is the signature concept of the N9NE Group, founded by innovative restaurateurs Michael Morton (son of Arnie Morton, of Morton's of Chicago) and Scott DeGraff. The Las Vegas-based company is responsible for the groundbreaking N9NE Steakhouse in Chicago as well as several other restaurants and nightspots in Chicago, Las Vegas and Dallas.
N9NE Steakhouse, with its cutting-edge contemporary design and a more diverse, innovative menu, is tailor-made for Las Vegas. Clearly not your fathers steakhouse, N9NE Steakhouse is a 21st century interpretation of that beloved culinary tradition, retaining the essential elements of the classic but updating it for a new generation. The original N9NE Steakhouse has garnered considerable critical acclaim, instantly becoming the prime destination for Chicago glitterati and visiting celebrities. Conde Nast Traveler called it "one of the newest, hottest and best places to eat in the entire world," while John Mariani of Wine Spectator dubbed it "the hottest of Chicago's new restaurants." In Las Vegas, the buzz has been just as impressive, earning one of "America;s Best Restaurants" honors from Gourmet magazine.
N9NE Steakhouse is anything but one of those hushed environments in which buttoned-down businessmen tuck into their T-bones. The traditional red leather, brass and mahogany have been traded in for a more contemporary look that appeals to a hip, diverse crowd. Upon entering the dramatic 12,500 square foot restaurant, wide-eyed patrons are greeted by a two-sided wall of water and stunning glass-ensconced wine cellar. Limestone walls, mirrored mosaics and ultra-suede booths are among elegant appointments bathed in soft illumination. In the center of the room--beneath a silver-leaf domed ceiling shimmering under a 300-color intelligent lighting system--is N9NE Steakhouse's trademark circular Champagne and Caviar Bar. In addition to providing a fun, communal dining experience for solos or groups, the bar serves as a focal point that generates energy throughout the dining room. Separated from the main dining room by a sleek glass wall, N9NE Steakhouse's private dining room can seat 60 guests or accommodate a reception for 100. Retractable partitions can accommodate two smaller events simultaneously.
