Shimshi was born 1979 in Tel-Aviv, Israel. His first performance as a magician was at age 13. After 7 years of performing Magic in Israel, Shimshi moved to America and pursued his lifelong dream to perform in Las Vegas.
Los Angeles was the first stop where he regularly appeared at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. In the years 2002 and 2003, Shimshi was a 3 time consecutive winner of the Strolling Olympics Award by the Academy of Magical Arts.
February 1st 2004, Shimshi got a phone call requesting him to be the House Magician for the Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. After a two year run at the Mirage, he spent a year performing his young, cutting edge magic at the World's Greatest Magic Show at the Sahara Casino and then The "V" show at the Planet Hollywood Resort. His dream is starting to come true.
Shimshi's Magic has taken him around the world. From Princess Grace Theater in Monaco to the Winter Garden Theater in Berlin Germany across Europe and Asia. Shimshi says, "In everything I do, I want to reach for the sky".
In 2008, Shimshi was recognized as the best, out of hundreds of magicians, for the NBC's hit show, America's Got Talent!
Shimshi now resides in Las Vegas and currently the resident magician for Wynn | Encore Las Vegas.
