Great private 1/4 mile walking trail to the Platte river through grasslands and wooded area. Peaceful and secluded, but other homes in the immediate area. Bring a camera as deer and turkey love this place and its right in the middle of sandhill crane viewing! Bird watching in general can be rewarding, too, with bald eagles in the spring, blue heron on the pond, geese overhead, and many songbirds. Bring your DVD's and CD's, too, because the cabin has surround sound and its great! And, there is even satellite TV (we don't want you to rough-it too much!).
