The newly renovated Mid-America Center now joins the top tier of cities in meeting space, amenities, and distinction. Extending East and South of the Missouri River, the city of Council Bluffs has joined Omaha’s Metro region and become part of its prosperous community. For years, Iowa has struggled to accommodate the entertainment needs of the public; it was at that time that the Mid-America Center was built. Breaking ground in 2000, doors opened to the public on October 18th, 2002, as locals know it, the "MAC" welcomed audiences of all types.
