About Third Degree Glass Factory

Third Degree Glass Factory is the perfect setting to host your wedding reception, corporate event, or upcoming private party. Founded by artists Jim McKelvey and Doug Auer in 2002, is a one-of-a-kind event facility housed in a working glass studio. The galleries and studios have been beautifully restored and transformed into urban art galleries. The 6000+ square feet of open space can accommodate up to roughly 300 guests for a seated dinner or up to 600 for a cocktail-style party. We believe everyone deserves a beautiful place to celebrate! Host a reception like no other! Our rental includes parking with an attendant, use of the entire facility, tables, chairs and an event manager that stays the entire evening. Having your ceremony and reception at Third Degree is a great way to keep your guests entertained all day long, and make your day amazing!

Wonderful Venue; Wonderful Service - An Eventective User from Saint Louis, Missouri

TDGF was wonderful to work with. My wife (then fiancee) and I booked both our wedding ceremony and reception there in a hurry when our prior scheduled venue became abruptly unaccommodating. We picked this place because, apart from its unique feel and artsy beauty, the staff was very accommodating to our requests. they have a list of suggested vendors, but you aren't limited to a small group of contracted service suppliers, as with many, many other venues. The venue itself is beautiful inside, always covered with an array of glass art and complementary pieces, but the neighborhood can be hit-or-miss. This part of Saint Louis is currently on the upswing, and TGDF itself is very secure (Security Officers are provided to watch cars during the event, at no cost). Cody Meirick (Event Manager) handled all of our numerous requests with grace and expediency, and was a joy to work with. Jim McKelvey, co-founder, stopped by during our setup time to check on everything and actually came back for the reception (we invited him that day), took pictures, and chatted with our guests. My wife and I, along with each member of our wedding party, actually made a paperweight during our reception--how many other places provide a service like that!? Parking is decent, there's bar service on-sight, and it's hip. For a unique, memorable experience, we definitely recommend TDGF and staff. When you pay them a visit, be sure to check out the custom bathrooms.
