Good food, good space, An Eventective User from

I had been here many times for dinner and never realized they had an event space upstairs. They should get the word out more! They're in a great location. The food is fantastic Italian but not predictable. They have valet parking so you don't have to try to find a parking space, which can sometimes be impossibly on The Plaza. The event space was large and could be adjusted to fit the size of the crowd. The staff was friendly, but honestly they didn't go above and beyond. I don't think they're used to doing big events, which is fine. Overall I love eating there for dinner and now enjoy attending events here as well

I never knew this restaurant had event space until a friend held her birthday here. I was pleasantly surprised! The event space has dividers that can accomidate either a small or large food. It's located on the plaza, which is always a great location. The food was fabulous, just like in the restaurant.

The best party venue in Kansas City for a small to medium crowd is by far Brio on the Country Club Plaza. Although known for being a popular restaurant, one of the best kept secrets is the bar and event rooms up the winding staircase to the second floor. The vibrant atmosphere is perfect for young professionals and family/friends outside of the "young adult" range will more than enjoy this location, as well. The dividers for each room can be closed to create a more intimate ambiance or can be opened to combine the spaces for larger groups. We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here but this would be a fantastic location for birthday parties or celebrations of any sort. The service is incredible and they will meet your every need. The staff even invited us in for a wine tasting the day before because we weren't sure which wines we wanted to offer our guests. The food was absolutely incredible and the presentation was beautiful. We received so many compliments about the food and so many, "I'm stuffed" statements that it was clear everyone was very satisfied. The other positive about this location is there were bartenders only assigned to our room and there was a nice variety of option. The bar was set up in a convenient location and they were very accommodating. Once dessert ended, which was also unique and delicious, guests were able to head to the bar area open to the public. The bar is very classy, not too crowded, and because it is only steps away, all guests at the party were able to party late and stay in one place together. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of food, service, and aesthetics of the location. This is definitely the perfect location from the beginning to the end of your night.

The Cotillion Room is booked for 2015. Some days in November are still available. Please contact us about your event for 2016 - 2017. The Cotillion Room is a beautiful venue for weddings, receptions, and a variety of other special events. However we are especially proud of the beautiful garden seen through the glass in the French doors. The doors open to the surprise of all guests to a scene of a lily pond with a bridge, five landscaped tiers of flowers, a large deck set with a view of five acres of wooded land. When guests enter the garden through the French doors they enjoy looking down at the very large Koi fish in the lily pond and then proceed down the path to a large deck then on down the path to a lovely gazebo surrounded by flowers often used for wedding ceremonies. Guests will notice that the garden is secluded by tall privacy fences on the South and East leaving the North open to the grassy meadow and forest. The garden boosts of flowered paths, a garden swing and fountain for a beautiful background for pictures. We offer consultations and customization packages, to help you save time and money, while alleviating the stress of planning your big day.
