About Campus Club At University Of Minnesota

We host many kinds of private events, ranging from 2-person private meetings to seated banquets for 250 people. We have 11 event spaces that can accommodate a variety of events. Our beautiful outdoor terrace overlooks the University of Minnesota campus with stunning views of downtown to the west. Our West Wing has floor to ceiling windows all 3 sides of the room! The West Wing can accommodate 250 for a reception and 230 for a seated event. For corporate or business events, we'll sponsor your first event without requiring you to become a Campus Club member. If you book the West Wing dining room, a year of Community Membership (value $300) at the Campus Club is included.

The West Wing is the main dining room at the Campus Club. It has floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the downtown Minneapolis skyline, USBank Stadium, Weisman Art Museum, and the Mississippi River. This spacious room is a great spot for University events, corporate events, and special celebrations like weddings. The West Wing tables are a mix of rounds and rectangles. While we can seat up to 206 guests, we can also section off part of the room with room dividers for smaller groups.

This beautiful outdoor space has outstanding views of the downtown Minneapolis skyline and Northrop Mall. The Terrace is a popular spot for wedding ceremonies, receptions, department events, reunions, and parties. During the warmer months, the Terrace is open for members during lunch and Happy Hour. The Terrace is perfectly situated for summer sun, and with our fourth floor location, sunsets are a treat. Seating is casual. We have tables that seat 4, 6, 8, or more as well as hightop tables for 2 or 3 along the north side of the Terrace. Comfortable lounge furniture is arranged in cozy groups at either end of the Terrace. You won’t find a better place for a late afternoon summer get-together with your friends or colleagues!

The classic and welcoming Campus Club Bar is a full-service bar. With south facing floor-to-ceiling windows, it is graced with beautiful light and a marvelous view of the Mississippi River and West Bank campus. Comfortable stools line the bar and hightop seating is available along the windows. The east end of the bar is furnished with several couches, chairs, and coffee tables that make it a perfect spot for informal gatherings. The bar is available to our members after lunch until we close. A wide variety of beer , wine, and craft cocktails, as well as full dinner and happy hour menus are available. During bar hours you can rent the cozy couch section on the east side of the bar. When the bar is closed, you can rent the entire bar.

The Dale Shephard room is our more formal smaller event space. It is perfect for private dinners, meetings, all-day retreats, recognition events, and VIP occasions. With wonderful views of downtown Minneapolis and art deco details, this room works well for University, corporate, and social events. The room is named in memory of the club's long-time manager. Dale Shephard was "the face of the Campus Club" from 1940 to the mid-1970s.

The Lounge Corridor is located off the elevators as you enter the Campus Club, adjacent to The Terrace and overlooking the beautiful Mall area of Campus. In summer months, the Lounge Corridor is only available for reservation in conjunction with the Terrace. When the weather is cooler, it is available as a stand-alone reception site. Comfortable couches and chairs are grouped to bring your guests together in casual conversation. With great light and original artwork, the Lounge Corridor is a relaxed but elegant space for receptions.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was there, especially helpful as we were coming in from out of town for this event. They even organized a team to pick up our flowers when they were dropped off downstairs! They were great at the tech and super kind. I would totally recommend them for an event.
