Historical Elegance In The City - An Eventective User from Coon Rapids, Minnesota

My cousin got married last fall of 2011 at The Depot in Minneapolis,Minnesota. I was a bridesmaid for her big day and it was wonderful. As I live in Minnesota I had been to the depot when they have open ice skating in the winter but I had never been there for a wedding and it was really great. The setting is timeless and can hold a lot of people. She had over three hundred guests and could have easily fit hundreds more. The people that helped at the wedding and who served the food were very professional and even wore white gloves, the center pieces are included in the price and were very elegant and pretty. The catering was great and the place that does the catering does all of the food service at the Depot so they really know what they are doing and how to run the catering. It was not expensive considering how much you get for the money and how many guests were there. The service was second to none. The staff was so friendly and everything ran smoothly. They had a lot of amenities including a bar, caterers, and more. I would recommend this venue to anyone that wants to get married in the twin cities metro area. It was so classy and you get a lot for your money. Even with three hundred guests there was plenty of room for the band and a huge dance floor. They have everything that you could need.

Old Style Charm - An Eventective User from Madison.Wisconsin

My sister got married last fall of 2010 at The Depot in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. I helped her with the planning of the event and it went really well. It was a great place to hold a wedding reception for many reasons. It was a beautiful location that was plenty big for the three hundred guests that were invited to the wedding. The setting was so beautiful, everyone was so impressed with how timeless the scene was. What is really great about having your wedding at the Depot is that they have a professional wedding planning staff that helps you get just the wedding that you want to have and they customize it to fit your needs. They also have a professional catering staff and tons of items to choose from for every course. It is nice when a venue has their own catering because they really know that site and they are use to working it and they know how to get it set up without any problems and it really gives you a lot less to worry about on your big day. It was a little expensive but it was worth every penny. You get a lot for your money including a great staff to help you plan and great staff working the event itself. They were all friendly but very professional and they really know what they are doing with weddings since they have them all the time. If you think this is a location that you would like to have your wedding at you will need to book it early as it fills up fast. The staff was quick to fill all the needs of the wedding couple and everyone that was there was impressed with everything. The food was really good and while my sister chose their least expensive meal option the portion was big and it looked so fancy that you would not have guessed that she went as cheap as possible with it. The decorations were minimal but that is what is needed at the Depot because it is already a beautiful place.
