Your Neighborhood Florist - An Eventective User from Rochester Hills

I have a personal relationship with Holland's Flowers; I grew up in the same town as the shop. On top of that, my older sister took jobs there during the summer between college semesters (unfortunately, just because you have family in the business does not mean you get a discount just because you're the younger brother). We've used them for our high school graduation, birthdays, even the holidays. Historically speaking, that particular florist has been around for a long time, since 1929, so you're not just shopping in a store, your keeping a part of American history alive! So strictly speaking, based on their impeccable track record, the staff at Holland's have some pretty good talent regarding their botanical craft. It's not just flower they deal in though. Going through the store, they have garden supplies for growing your own flowerbed, and even birdbaths, sculptures and fountains to accent them with. But they don't just do gardens as well, but edibles to. I remember several Thanksgivings where we've gotten one of their special fruit baskets (and if we were lucky, one of their candy baskets too. Just to add to the list, the good people at Holland's do gourmet AND fruit baskets as well! And just to add some frosting on this metaphorical cake, they have jewelry and, last but not least . . . framed artwork to sale. They are like the Swiss Army Knife of Florists! So can I recommend a good florist of whatever event you might have planned, or perhaps some good art to hang over your fireplace? I can certainly say that Holland's Flowers is where you need to go.
