The Perfect Wedding Spot Wrapped Into One, An Eventective User from Detroit, MI

I was very nervous about planning my wedding. I kept going back and forth between churches, and reception venues, until I was lucky enough to find the perfect spot. The Inn at St. John's has everything a wedding needs all wrapped into one. The staff at St. John's was wonderful, helpful, and accommodating. They assisted me with the planning, and really helped to take the pressure off. I was able to have fun because of them, and not get overly stressed out! My family and my husband's family are devout Catholics. It was important to us for the wedding to be held in a Catholic church. We were married in the chapel. It is absolutely gorgeous. I loved the high ceiling and stained glass, and the size was perfect for the amount of guests we invited. Our reception was held in the Grande Ballroom. It was so easy having our guests simply walk a hundred feet instead of driving somewhere. The staff made sure to let me help plan how the ballroom would be decorated. I wanted lots of white everywhere (the chair covers, etc.) and they were very accommodating. They also gave me a list of vendors they recommend wedding parties use. None of them were over priced. I think it's great they aren't only giving expensive options to weddings. It lets me know they have my best interests in mind. I would highly recommend St. John's to anyone who asks. The staff is great, and the venues are all perfect for a wedding!

The Inn at St. John, located in Plymouth Michigan is a very unique setting to be certain. The Inn is located very close to major access routes, but still provides a picturesque setting tucked back in a beautiful resort type atmosphere next to a golf course. The facility itself is very unique due to the age of the buildings and the overall property. The events I have been to have provided excellent catering and food options for the meetings. The buildings have the capability to host very small to quite elaborate meetings, hosting guests up in the several hundred range easily. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly, and works very diligently to ensure the purpose for the event being held there is done well. Overall it's a very pleasant atmosphere in a great setting that allows you to get out of the office, but still be very focused on your purpose. While the age of the facility is what catches your attention, the up to date meeting capabilities and rooms serve just about any meeting venue. From high tech conferences, to board meetings, to weddings, it's one of the most adaptive environments that I think I have been to. Each type of event seems to perfectly fit within the confines of the environment. I would highly recommend this setting. If you have not been there, it's a must see!n I guarantee you will not be disappointed you checked it out.


An Amazing Wedding at St. John's, An Eventective User from New York, NY

We held our wedding at the Inn at St. John's in June 2011 and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. First, the venue is absolutely gorgeous. I'm Catholic, so we opted to hold our wedding in the beautiful chapel on the grounds. The chapel is unique because the pews face inward toward a very long, polished marble floor: it is the perfect place for walking down the aisle like a princess! The ceremony was beautiful, and the whole St. John's complex was extremely convenient for all of our guests because immediately after the ceremony, they were whisked away for cocktails and hors oeuvres in the reception ballroom while we took photos! There was no waiting around or drive between locations for them, which was a huge plus for us due to a number of out-of-town guests from New York who do not drive. Following the ceremony, we celebrated in the Judea Room with dinner and dancing. The room was, again, gorgeous. The service from the bar staff and waiters was excellent. Our guests loved the food, which was remarkable in that it was served quickly and for a crowd of 100, but it was still delicious and well-presented. I HIGHLY recommend offering the vegetable stack--I can't believe how great it tastes! We found that all the staff members we worked with were absolutely professional and devoted to making our wishes come true. Our guests still talk about how beautiful our wedding was and how much they enjoyed themselves. Following the outstanding "last call" Coney Dogs and a bit more dancing, our guests returned to their St. John's hotel rooms--right on site! I can't recommend St. John's enough for its convenience, beauty, and exceptional service: you won't be disappointed!
