This is a place for families and friends, and for every occasion. A place where good people gather to celebrate, socialize, eat and enjoy. Preserving the history of the Hartshorn building, we’ve renovated stylish spaces for business, dining and event hosting. With lakeshore views and close access to downtown, our event facilities and catering staff can accommodate parties from two to two thousand. The Event Center at Fricano Place is a 10,000 square foot nostalgic banquet and wedding venue facility that can comfortably seat up to 500 guests. Offering exquisite views of Muskegon Lake, an outdoor terrace for guests to enjoy and an open floor plan, our purpose is to help you and your guests create memories that will last a lifetime.

A wedding with a view on Muskegon Lake - An Eventective User from Muskegon, MI

I got married at the Fricano Event Center in May, and I could not have wished for a better wedding. The interior looks great; it is decorated mostly with wood and has a retro feel to it that I really loved. The furniture is incredibly classy and the bar is truly a magnificent piece of classic furniture. There was plenty of rooms for our guests and for a large dance floor area. What made me decide in favor of the Fricano Event Center was the outdoor terrace: our guests were able to escape from the busy atmosphere of the reception and enjoy a breath-taking view of Muskegon Lake. We took a lot of pictures on the terrace and they are among our favorite wedding pictures. There were however a few things I did not like: the Fricano Event Center insists on providing drinks. They offer a decent selection at decent prices but they did not have the particular champagne that my father wanted. The staff was efficient but it felt as if they were treating our event in a very business-like way. I would have preferred a more family oriented business that truly gets to know you and works with you on the decorations and the details. Instead, we were asked what we wanted and offered exactly what we asked for which is a great thing, but I would have liked a little more guidance. I would recommend this place for its great settings and classy atmosphere, but make sure you know exactly what you want in advance.
