The Minute Man Visitor Center is conveniently located on Rte 2A (one mile west of I-95/128). Today the visitor center lobby, theatres and grounds are available for use by the general public for permitted uses such as evening social functions & other events. The park’s function manager is here to see that your event runs smoothly in a manner that complies with conditions of the National Park Service and ensures the preservation of the landscape and structure. The Buttrick Mansion, located at 174 Liberty Street, is now the park visitor center with giftshop and seasonal outdoor cafe. To the northeast, and set down on a slight slope, are the Carriage House and the Caretaker’s Cottage, which support the park maintenance & curatorial functions. Recent cultural landscape and historic structures rehabilitation work has been performed along the Battle Road. Today, the Samuel Brooks house is available for use by the general public for permitted functions such as corporate retreats, small weddings & other events.
