 9/14/2011 | | "Delicious food, wonderful people!", An Eventective User from Salisbury, Maryland | | When I was getting married I wanted to have my family and friends eat barbecue style. I looked around at a few places but the place that stood out the most to me was the Black Diamond Lodge. It is owned by the same people that own a successful barbecue restaurant called Adam's Ribs. The website for the Lodge was very colorful and informative about the menu options, drinks, and estimation help as to what to order for the amount of people. I called them up and set up a tasting for the reception food. Well the food was amazing! I couldn't find something I didn't like! The roast beef was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the barbecue chicken was sweet but still spicy. The prices for feeding everyone buffet style was more affordable to me and the catering manager worked with me in every way to tailor the menu to what I wanted. They even did the linens and the rental for the tables and chairs too! The wedding day went smoothly, the food was cooked perfectly and right on time. My guests were really talking about the jumbo shrimp for the appetizer! Overall, The Black Diamond Lodge didn't steer me wrong in the least. The catering manager was slightly hard to get a hold of when I had questions, but we kept in touch mostly by email so I was never in the dark. I'd recommend them to anyone having a wedding or even a at home party. They even do whole pig roasts! |
