The Woodfords Club was organized on September 19, 1913 as a social club. The clubhouse was formally opened on January 13, 1914. The clubhouse's main hall can accommodate 200 people and can seat 144 comfortably for a meal. The club's members gather weekly for a meal and entertainment each Friday evening from October though April. Meals are prepared in the clubhouse's fully-equipped kitchen by the club's staff. The lounge can seat 30 on its couches and oversized chairs. The meeting/card room can seat 28 at tables or up to 40 for presentations. While normally available to club members, these rooms, which are on the main floor, also are offered for rent to the general public. The clubhouse also has a newly installed secure wireless network with a high speed Internet connection for general use by club members and, on request, by non-club members during specific functions.
