Common Table, Harpswell — The Common Table a coastal Inn/B & B in Harpswell, Maine is the perfect place to meet, eat and sleep. Offering a destination like feel yet is only 12 miles from Bowdoin College, the Inn sits on 9 acres with farm ponds, wooded areas, 3 seasons gardens and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and plenty of free parking. Weddings, lobster bakes, pig roasts and other outdoor events are available from June 1 to September 30. The Common Table is open year round for indoor events for 20 people wanting sit down meals, 20 - 50 guests for other events, meeting space for 5 to 15 people. Food prepared on premise using local ingredients whenever possible. No set menus. We work with you to custom plan the menu for your special event.

A large and elegant dwelling, Tate House was built in 1755 for Captain George Tate (1700 - 1794) and his family.
