About Benedict's Plantation

Benedict’s Plantation was founded in 1991 by Chef Benedict Deluzain and his wife Shirley, restaurateur pioneers for the Northshore. The facility offers two different locations for elegant wedding receptions or social events, along with a serene garden, French Quarter courtyard and gazebo for private ceremonies. Benedict's is well known as the finest wedding venue on the Northshore of New Orleans. Our Reception Packages are created together with our Brides and Grooms. We feel that each couple should have a menu and overall experience that reflects their uniqueness and as such, we are happy to sit with you and help you plan your dream menu and keep it within the budget you’ve allotted yourself! We will also help you line up flowers, music, photography, and MORE!!!

Wedding at Plantation House = Perfect! - An Eventective User from Covington, LA

First, you should know that I've been a wedding videographer for the past 10 yrs. I've been to any place you can think of for a wedding on the Northshore and in the city. I knew when I got engaged, Benedict's was where I wanted to be married. I cannot say enough great things about Cathy and the rest of the staff! Cathy was very easy to work with, very responsive to anything I needed, there for us for everything the day of my wedding. We were supposed to have our ceremony in the garden but nature had other plans for us. Cathy and the staff went out of there way to make sure it was a beautiful inside ceremony. Both my ceremony and reception took place in the plantation house which was perfect for my 85 guests. The food was amazing!
