When my grandmother died in Fall of last year, I helped to make the arrangements. She was an avid gardener, so we knew flowers and floral displays were an important factor at her visitation and funeral. She loved lilies best of all, and for years had hung a lily wreath – handmade! – from her door. We really wanted a replica of one of those wreaths, to signify to everyone that they were visiting grandma for the last time. Obviously, we weren't going to be able to go just anywhere for this very special display. After some research, and recommendations from a coworker, I visited Imperial Flowers. The other florists I had visited seemed to be working inside constraints; they told me what they couldn't do, not what they could. At Imperial, I could see the sympathy in their eyes, and they said they would be able to make a wreath just like the one my grandmother had on her door. We even brought in a picture so they'd have something to work with. In no time, they had assembled a wreath that was almost identical to the one in the photo! They also suggested several other displays based on descriptions of my grandmother's garden. My mom handled other arrangements, so she had no idea what a perfect job Imperial Flowers had done. When she walked into the funeral home, she was stunned. She walked quietly among the flowers with tears streaming down her face. Several other visitors said it was just like visiting Nana's garden (my younger nieces and nephews called her Nana) one more time. I think that's the best recommendation I could give!
