 8/23/2011 | | "Perfect Resort Location for Wedding", An Eventective User from Atlanta, Georgia | | I participated in a fabulous wedding that was held at the Arrowwood Resort and Conference center in Okoboji, IA. This was a summer wedding which was perfect for this location. The resort is located right on a beautiful golf course which made a beautiful venue for the ceremony, with a great indoor reception. The reception took place in their ballrooms. There are numerous ballrooms and can be adjusted based on the event size. This wedding had tables set up for round seating, and an additional room for the banquet style food. This was very convenient for everyone. They had also set up a dance floor in the dinner room, which made it easy to watch and be entertained by the guests dancing. In addition to having the ceremony and reception here, the bride and groom had a room block set aside for guest to make room reservations. This made it very easy for guests of the wedding to attend and make accommendations. I attended with my family, so when the kids were tired, it was nice to have a room in the hotel. The rooms were also very nice. This place also has 2 pools, and a fitness center for guests to use, along with a nice restaurant inside. The front desk staff and the wedding workers were all extremely nice and helpful. Overall, this was a great place for a wedding. The location is in the middle of Okoboji, which made it easy to do additional activities while in town for the wedding! It was a great wedding! |
