Perfect Wedding, An Eventective User from Bloomfield, IN

We were the 4th couple to have our wedding there, and it was perfect. It was an icredible good deal since my husband is alumni. We also used the dining hall as our reception hall and I could not beleive that it didnt even look like a dining hall once they got done with, food, music everything was perfect. I am from Florida, so overlooking the lake was like being back home. Everyone there was in awe of it and so was I.

The White Chapel offers a unique wedding experience, An Eventective User from Terre Haute, IN

The White Chapel, located on the campus of Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana, is a breathtaking venue for a wedding. The remarkable architecture and scenic setting lends itself to beautiful photos and a memorable event. The Chapel itself is reminiscent of the Air Force Chapel in Colorado Springs, with the tall arching metal beams interlaced with all-over windows. Sunshine pours through the hundreds of windows and the eastern side of the Chapel, which is all glass, offers a stunning backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Overlooking a quaint pond, rolling hill, and dozens of gorgeous trees, complete the picture, creating an overall picturesque wedding day. The Chapel offers all the amenities needed to host a wedding, including chairs, tables, microphone and sound equipment, piano, restrooms, kitchen, and dressing rooms. The only drawbacks are that the dressing rooms are fairly small, making it somewhat difficult for large wedding parties to get ready, and that the sound equipment is located in a position that isn't ideal. Whoever is running the sound equipment is separated from the ceremony, leaving them with little ability to view the ceremony.

This iconic Terre Haute landmark opened on January 28, 1922, and occupies a special place in American theatre architecture design. The Theatre was built by Terre Haute resident T.W. Barhydt to be a lasting gift to the city of Terre Haute and it was designed by America’s preeminent designer John Eberson to be his first prototype “Atmospheric Theatre” which became his signature style that is recognized to be the gold standard of American theatre design. Throughout its rich history, the Theatre has hosted a wide range of events that have included vaudeville, cinema, performing arts and community celebrations of all types. Through restoration efforts which began in May 2013, the Indiana Theatre’s heritage has been preserved and the Indiana has been reborn as a 1,600 seat full service event center which can host a wide range of community gatherings that include live entertainment, performing arts, cinema, wedding events, and fundraisers. While visiting our proud and historic city, we encourage you to visit this downtown treasure which has served as a vault for Terre Haute memories since 1922.
