 8/7/2011 | | "Mexican Food With A Difference", An Eventective User from Vernon Hills IL | | We have used the On The Border to cater to our celebrations at work because they offer a good option cost effective option. The cost range from as low as nine dollar a person to about fourteen dollars a person to provide more than sufficient food to provide a full meal for each person. For nine dollars per person they will provide you with a Taco Bar of delicious Chicken and or Beef Tacos or a Fiesta Especial including Chicken and Cheese Empanadas, Cheese and Onion Enchiladas, Crispy Beef Tacos and Creamy Queso for your Chips. In the upper price range closer to fourteen dollars a person you can have a Taste of The Border including Original Queso, Choice of Beef or Chicken Mini-Chimichangas, Mesquite-Grilled Chicken Fajitas, Hand-Rolled Cheese & Onion Enchiladas and Create-Your-Own Beef Taco Bar with all the fixings including desert served with Sopapillas with Honey and Chocolate Sauce. We typical do the Fiesta Especial which provides great value for the money and a large amount of food. We typically order for twenty person which total less than two hundred after taxes and addition of a few fixings. We also have lots of leftovers so the guys can eat as much as they want to. Their food is well flavors but not spice and their serving size is generous. We love their food and plan to continue to order at least two more times this year. If you are in the neighborhood On The Border is also an excellent place for dinner and their drinks are gigantic and delicious. |
