Hilton Garden Inn: Affordable and Elegant! - An Eventective User from Minneapolis, MN

We got married last summer at the Hilton Garden Inn in St. Charles, IL. This is about 30 minutes west of Chicago. We chose this venue because it was an affordable hotel, with discounted rooms for our wedding guests. The Hilton Garden Inn has a full time event planner, who helped us every step of the way through the wedding process. We were able to pick table linens in our colors, and select from a wide variety of room set-ups. The Hilton Garden Inn is located across from Pheasant Run Dinner Theater and Restaurant. The chef from this locale caters all of the Hilton events. We were able to attend a very comprehensive tasting. The chef used fresh ingredients, and we were able to choose from fish, veal, beef, chicken, and vegetarian pasta. We were also able to choose all of our sides. The price included the cake, and a lovely cocktail hour. It also included an open bar. We were also able to select children's meals for the children who attended our reception. The food was served to our guests at their tables, rather that buffet style, and was cooked on site in the Hilton kitchen. We were able to drop off our favors, and items for the children's table in advance, and the staff had everything set up exactly to our specifications, which removed a lot of stress! The Hilton Garden Inn in St. Charles has a lovely outdoor area where we were married, with lots of seasonal flowers. It was impeccably groomed, and has a nice gazebo, which was perfect for pictures and the ceremony. Then, we were able to walk inside for our reception. They also have a nice facility inside for indoor weddings. The Hilton Garden Inn in St. Charles made every effort to make our day stress free and elegant. It was a bargain for everything we got, and the price is very competitive for the Chicago area. While it is not in Chicago, the location was very convenient for our out of town guests. I highly recommend it!
