 9/6/2007 | | "Not Exceptional", An Eventective User from Rockford, Illinois | | The room was very nice and the bartender was good. Drink prices were a bit high. Our group went to the regular bar in the next room and the prices were lower. The food was almost cold - served buffet style. They brought out the very bare minimum and gave everyone small servings of each item. Even so, it was nearly gone after everyone had moved through the line one time. The desserts were very good, but again, there wasn't anything left. When the line was done, the little remaining food was taken away. Unfortunately, some of our guests arrived a bit late, and many of our guests were still hungy, but there wasn't any more food available for them. They didn't offer to help us out with that. When the line is done, the food is done. Overall, not a horrible experience, but definitely not exceptional. |
