We recently had our wedding reception at the Palos Country Club in Orland Park, IL. We had approximately 100 guests, found the venue to be absolutely perfect for our needs. The office staff was very professional, and was very helpful in setting our expectations and requirements for the event. We were walked through each option, the associated costs, and the average packages that most people end up getting. We also attended a very nice food tasting. The food was all very good. We ended up going with a family style dinner option, which we felt was a better value and you got more food. We had roasted turkey, stuffing, a green bean dish, roast beef, etc. The food was very good, and our guests complimented us on the choices. The staff was excellent, and tried very hard to make it a perfect night. They were very attentive to the head table, and kept asking if either myself or my bride needed anything. They continued to bring us drinks from the bar during dinner, when everybody else was only able to drink the table wine. They also had an option for a roll out Irish bar, which we chose to add to our event. The bar came with kegs of Smithwick, Harp and Guinness, and this was a huge success for the party. People still talk about that Irish bar, even today. Overall the experience was excellent, I couldn't have asked for better. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to get married and have a reception in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Also, for the price, this place was very fairly positioned, especially when considering it is a higher price suburb.

I recently had my wedding reception at Palos Country Club. I cannot rave enough about this place. Everything from Day 1 was wonderful. My wedding coordinator was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. She treated our wedding as if it were her own; making sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. The Grand Ballroom was absolutely beautiful with windows overlooking the golf course. The dance floor is HUGE and I loved the fact that they didn’t put any guest tables on the dance floor. The food was to die for! I’m still getting compliments from people on how wonderful it was. Another great incentive was that they included a wedding cake in the package. The cake was wonderful as well and definitely saved us a lot of money. I do not have one bad thing to say about this place. I have told all of my friends that are looking for reception sites to book at Palos Country Club!!!
