 9/1/2011 | | "Let The Good Times Be", An Eventective User from Mundelein IL | | Applebees has an awesome twenty for two menu and we decided to use it for my birthday dinner. There were ten of us that went out to dinner and this was the most cost effective place to have dinner which allowed everyone to select what they wanted to eat. The two for twenty menu offered a good selection of options. We had the spinach artichoke dip, spicy queso blanco and buffalo wings for our appetizers which we shared among the group. I had a Fiesta Lime Chicken and my husband had the Chicken Fettucine Carbonara. We split each in half. We ordered extra appetizers, one appetizer sampler and potato twisters. I had the Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert. My husband is not usually a dessert person but he had a strawberry cheesecake shooter. We had a good time and the food was delicious and fresh. I really had a good night. The Applebees Mundelein crew is amazing, they were very attentive. We had great service and our server was the best server I have had in a long time. They made my birthday! |
