"GREAT Small Wedding Ceremony location", An Eventective User from Chicago, Illinois

My husband and I got married in the garden area during the middle of the summer. It was hot, but everything else was absolutely PERFECT! The venue set up chairs for us, provided us with rehearsal and day-of event organizers, and had a great tent that all 100 guests and quartet could fit under. The location is GORGEOUS and required very little decoration. Everyone who has their wedding here even gets a memorial brick with their names/wedding date that stays in the garden forever. The coordinator for our wedding was professional, prompt, and always followed through. She was there the day of the wedding and helped organize everything. The very affordable package (seven hundred when we got married) comes with the tent, the coordinators, an hour rehearsal time, a three hour block for the ceremony, and fifty chairs. You can rent additional chairs for two dollars a piece as well. The package also comes with a round table for the ceremony plus linens if you want. The location made for a perfect background for pictures as well! Wilder Park has enough parking for most of your guests (reserved as well!) and there is additional parking across the street at Elmhurst College. The greenhouse next door to the garden also has a bridal room for the bride to get ready. Obviously, we would recommend this location for anyone who is have 100 or fewer guests and that wants a gorgeous outdoor location to have their ceremony. Also, don't forget to check out the Wilder Park Mansion for the reception- it is right next door and beautiful as well.
