Steven was a child prodigy, starting lessons at age 4 and going professional at age 10. Steven's client list and places played is a 'who's who' of Chicago. Steven has played for Chicago's former Mayor and Illinois' former Governor, the late Maggie Daley, different Chicago Aldermen, private parties for corporate CEOs, bank presidents, Kraft Foods, Marshall Fields, Macy's, Walnut Room, Peninsula Hotel, Signature Room on the 95th, CIC Corp, International Lions Club, select clients of high end event planners and so many more. He has performed in Chicago at Symphony Center six times, Pritzker Stage at Millennium Park, Jazz Showcase, Green Mill Jazz Club, United Center, Navy Pier and more. He had a seven year run at popular Chicago restaurant, and is in a current long run at another popular Chicago restaurant, Ethiopian Diamond in Edgewater. Played at Chicago Jazz Festival, Lincoln Park Festival, Old Town Art Fair, Park West Antique Fair, Edgewater Art Fair, Lakeview East Fine Art Fair, Al Sears Jazz Festival and more. He has performed at fund raisers for PAWS Chicago, Edgewater Historical Society, Griffin Theatre, Rivendell Theatre, Alderman Mary Ann Smith and more. He has played around the country at Disneyland, Old Faithful Lodge in Yellowstone National Park, Liberace Museum in Las Vegas, Rincon Center in San Francisco, University of Maryland, University of Georgia, University of Illinois, Lyon College and more. Along with accompanying individual singers and instrumentalists, he has been hired by choral groups such as the Edgewater Singers and different elementary schools and high schools as an accompanist to students and student groups. Steven also gives back to the community. He has performed numerous times at senior centers and nursing homes and retirement communities. For the past 13 years, since the age of 11, Steven volunteers playing the piano and entering guests on Thanksgiving Day at a community event where over 1,000 needy residents of Uptown are served a free Thanksgiving Day dinner.
