I had the pleasure of working with the UIC Forum to host an event last fall for a few hundred people. UIC Forum did a great job of making sure that everything went off without a hitch. Everything was well organized, and when unexpected bumps came up throughout the afternoon and evening, they were very quick to accomodate. We had planned for a smaller number of attendees than actually showed, and we were not prepared for increased seating - however the staff at UIC took action without us even asking and set up additional seating to accomodate for the influx of attendees. The venue itself was a great location for the type of event we held - close proximity to downtown with the added benefit of ample parking for attendees. The catering was delicious and the wait staff was very friendly. There were many different catering options to choose from and it was not hard at all to find a mix of beverages and appetizers that would fit both our needs and our budget. We looked at a lot of other venues in the city, and I have to say that UIC Forum really did provide the best value and an awesome backdrop to our event. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great space to host a business event. Ample space, friendly staff, and options to fit your budget – big or small! You will not be disappointed!
