Events+Spaces at The Merchandise Mart - An Eventective User from Chicago, IL

The Merchandise Mart is an excellent venue to host a meeting. It is not only beautiful architecturally, but also it's customer service is extremely generous. Located in the heart of Chicago, you are located right on the beautiful Chicago river. Formally the Kennedy Building named after President John F. Kennedy and his wife, The Merchandise Mart is a plaza of accommodation. They offer the opportunity of an extremely successful event with a host of impressive and adaptable venues and unmatched services. Not to mention, The Merchandise Mart has an impressive reputation. My experiences with the Venue would leave me to give the venue a 5 out of 5. A few of the spaces that I am aware of available for event use include the North Lobby, South Lobby, the Merchandise Mart Conference Center, The Club Room, West Atrium, East Atrium, Suit Fifteen Twenty, and 350 West Mart Center Lobby. Which space to use truly depends on the the size of the meeting you plan to hold. The Merchandise Mart constantly host events in the building, so it is fair to book ahead of time rather than last minute and lose out. If you are coming from out of town you are in luck at The Merchandise Mart. They offer great amenities. They offer the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza. It is considered a business-class hotel offering 350 rooms, restaurants and conference facilities. They have great private wi-fi, which is a plus! There are also multiple shops and restaurants. They have a food court offering foods from Chicago style to Asian cuisines that I attended during a break in my meeting with a fellow worker. Would recommend to anyone looking for a special venue.
