Be A Kid Again! Chicago Children's Museum is not your typical venue—it's a lot more fun! CCM is filled with one-of-a-kind, hands-on exhibits, and we encourage guests of all ages to discover, explore, and experience them all. Located on historic Navy Pier, Chicago Children's Museum offers spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. Our stunning backdrop creates the perfect atmosphere for any event, whether an intimate daytime meeting or an elegant evening reception. Our facility rentals are custom-priced, ranging from $400 to $5,000. We pride ourselves on working with all budgets to ensure the best event experience possible.
Celebrate your birthday at Chicago Children's Museum! Amazing art activities, awesome add-ons and affordable party packages make birthdays at Chicago Children’s Museum truly memorable! Your guests will celebrate in style in our festive, private party rooms—and enjoy all-day admission to explore the museum’s three floors of hands-on fun! You've got to see our incredible spaces to believe them!
Fifteen permanent exhibits and programming spaces provide innovative learning experiences for children and their caregivers. The museum serves more than 500,000 visitors annually. With three floors of engaging and educational exhibits, a full array of public programs and special events, CCM strives to effectively meet the needs of its diverse audience.
NOTE: the museum is not available for Thursday rentals. We allow 1 - 1/2 hours prior to an event for set-up. The museum is open until 8:00pm on Saturday's, however, we will close at 5pm to accommodate the event (at no extra charge.)

*Use of our private Birthday Party Parlor for 2 hours.

The Birthday Bonanza includes everything offered in the Birthday Bash, plus one of these art adventures:
8Tremendous T-Shirt Party (ages 3+) - Great for all ages! Children create their own works of art, which is transferred to high-quality cotton T-shirts (all sizes available) to take home as party favors.
*Jazzy Jewelry Party (ages 4+) - Fun for girls and boys! Children design beads to create necklaces, bracelets, key chains and other wearable art to take home as party favors.
*Fun with Puppets (ages 5+) - Put on a puppet show! Children will have the opportunity to create "sock" or "rod" puppets for their enjoyment.
*Making Music (ages 5+) - What's a party without music! Your child and their friends will design their own musical instruments to take home. Yes, more party favors!
The Artabounds Extravaganza includes everything offered in the Birthday Bash, plus one of these art adventures:
*Painting Party (ages 2+) - Children learn how to "foot-paint" in a wacky canvas activity and make colorful hand-painted t-shirts!
*Tie-Dye Party (ages 6+) - Children tie and dye their own cotton t-shirts to take home as party favors. Tell us the birthday child's favorite colors, and we'll make them available for dyeing fun. This party is especially popular with big kids.
The IMAX Adventure includes: 35 tickets to a Navy Pier IMAX Theater presentation (call for film availability)
