The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — Another view of the Hydrangea and Iris Cake.The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — This cake consisted of 5 stacked layers, set slightly askew.  Each layer is covered in fondant and then hand-painted and accented with royal icing.  15 hours of hand-painting went into this cake.The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — Covered in hundreds of royal-icing flowers, this three-tiered, yellow buttercream cake replicates the bride's and her attendant's bouquets of lilies-of-the-valley, apple blossoms, easter lilies, delphinium, dahlias, pink daisies, bachelor buttons and white roses.  35 hours of artwork were involved in this cake.The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — Floral Dotted Swiss Cake features Royal Icing Flowers of Easter Lilies, Tiger Lilies, Daisies, Grape Hyacinths, Yellow Hyacinths, Orange Blossoms and Baby's Breath.  The sides are piped in a floral dotted swiss design, and the cake is accented with white dotted swiss ribbon and bows.  This cake took 30 hours of artwork.The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — This stained glass cake is covered in fondant, and the stained glass effect is done by outlining our patterns in black royal icing and filling in with colored piping gel.  This gives a real transparent "stained glass" effect.  We also do the reverse effect in white. The cake is covered in fondant and decorated with gumpaste, fondant and buttercream. A cloth ribbon is used around the base of the layers.  The ribbon and flowers on the cake matched the bride's bouquet. Our Bahamian Blue Velvet Cake is iced in Cream Cheese Icing and is decorated with Corinthian (Alpine) Lace and fresh flower arrangements of Hydrangeas and Snapdragons.  Location of event was Dean Gardens in Alpharetta, Georgia.The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — This is a slice of our famous Bahamian Blue Velvet Cake.  Our Bahamian Blue Velvet cake was developed over a two-year period of formulation, and The Yummy Tummy Cafe holds the trademark and copyright to this formula.  This is the only bakery that you can purchase this dreamy tropical cake with the teal-blue layers that remind us of the Bahamian Ocean.  The cake is filled with a pineapple/orange/tropical fruit filling and is iced in freshly-made Cream Cheese Icing.  Our Bahamian Blue Velvet Cake has been featured on the cover of Points North Magazine.  This is our most popular wedding cake flavor!The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — This bride requested buttercream with a collection of white and pink daisies, pink hyacinths and babies breath.  The "lace" you see on the cake is called Corinthian or Alpine lace.  10 hours of sugar work on this cake.The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — This "Florida Destination Wedding Cake" is a great example of our sculpting work.  We sculpt directly onto the cake and hand-paint.  There are six flamingos that appear all around the cake, each in a different pose.  The flamingos, bamboo and banana leaves are all made from fondant.  This cake took 25 hours of artwork.The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — This White Chocolate Buttercream "Petal" Cake matched the bride's white rose bouquet.  This cake has been requested several times.The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — Jim & Catherine cutting their Hydrangea & Iris Cake. 06/20/09The Yummy Tummy Cafe  Dallas, Dallas — This cake was done 06/20/09.  It features fondant with the pearl work on the bride's train replicated on the sides of the cake.  The flowers echo the bride's floral arrangement of hydrangeas, irises, stephanosis and crysanthemum pom poms.  All flowers are made of gumpaste and fondant.  40 hours of sugar work were involved on this cake.
