 4/12/2012 | | "Best Kept Secret Venue in Atlanta", An Eventective User from Atlanta GA | | The Treetops hotel is a unique "hotel" smack-dab in the in the middle of Atlanta. It really is a hidden gem. It is an architectural wonder in the midst of trees - An all glass house, that soaks up wonderful rays of sunlight, and would be a perfect venue for any summer or spring event. Even for Winter or Fall events it is still accommodating with fireplaces to heat up the place. There are two stories that can be rented. Or you can rent the entire house for a very reasonable price (compared to other hotels). The facility can be used for many types of events, or just as a regular nightly rental. According to the website, The TreeTops Hotel is part of an effort to preserve the tree canopy and the wildlife they support within the city of Atlanta. It was built on one of 5 lots that share a Conservation Easement that protects the root systems of 30 mature hardwood trees. The easement also reduces the buildable area of each lot , to ensure that forest views will be preserved even after the remaining 3 lots are built up. The owner Mary-Clare is very friendly and easy get in touch with. I went to a New Years party at this venue and was very impressed. It is definetly a venue that you will want to rent out just for a different vibe, a relaxed vibe, and at a cheap price. I would highly recommend this venue. |
