Clutch Performance, Nice Price. - An Eventective User from Atlantic, IA

Recently(this past November) I was asked to go down to Atlanta to talk to what I was originally told would be "a few" insurance companies and put on a presentation about what our company offered in the way of partnership. Originally, I had booked the last private room in the hotel I was going to be staying at, a week before I was supposed to leave, I was then informed that I would have 6 insurance companies each sending 5-10 people. The room I had booked had a cap of 20. As such I called and cancelled the meeting room and called my mother-in-law since she lived in Atlanta for 6 months after she had gotten married in May. She was no help so I pulled up an Atlanta phone book on the internet, one of the first names on the list was 595 North: Event Venue and Lounge. Well, I needed a venue, so I called. Fortunate as I was, they had one day available, the day after the original scheduled meeting, so I called and rescheduled the meetings, fortunately, nobody was that upset when I explained the situation. They had good prices(for Atlanta, as a Midwesterner, I'll never get used to either coasts prices, but have begun to appreciate bargains when I find them on the coasts) and they offer catering, which is always nice for meetings. When I arrived, I noticed that the space was a little bigger than I expected and they were finishing off decorating. I was a little worried that I would have to speak up more than I was used to for the size of the room, so I did a dry run a good hour before my guests arrived. As it turned out, the acoustics were good. If you whispered, it was quiet, but if you spoke normally your voice carried, but didn't echo like a cavern. When they finished 30 minutes before I had even expected my arrival I had to admit, it didn't look bad. The food was good, the caterers did an amazing job. The whole event went off without a hitch, which was impressive when you consider that they had less than a week to get coordinated. While, can't say it was the greatest event venue I have ever been at, what I can say, is that for the price and for what I and most business-people would consider last minute notice, they pulled it together and gave me a good event. As such, I have to give the management and workers a lot of credit. I had workers who were pleasant and attentive as well as a good looking venue.
