Hi there! I'm Jordan Thomas, professional photographer and visual storyteller. Due to my photographic education, awards and achievements, and published editorial work, I consider myself well-rounded in all areas of photography. I specialize in portraiture, commercial, journalism, and events. From weddings to product photography, I enjoy broadening my horizons and bending the “general” rules of photography. I am willing to chase the idealistic Pinterest-worthy photograph you’re looking for, and to do whatever it takes to get “the shot.” I’ve been known to climb on top of dumpsters, crawl through mud puddles, and find myself in poison ivy, just to get YOUR desired photo. Every photographic experience is an adventure and I’m willing to try it if you are. My responsibility is not just to know you well, but to know your story well. As Elliot Erwitt once said, it is not what you see but how you see. My joy and privilege is to focus on what’s important to you, literally, and not on what you see but how you should see it. I know that having your picture taken – although a special moment – can also be a sensitive subject for some.
