The Taylor-Grady House is a 150 year old national historic landmark in Athens, GA available for special events and open to the public for tours. This is an elegant venue for receptions of nearly any size and for small, indoor weddings, rehearsal dinners as well as corporate and personal events. The Taylor-Grady House can accommodate up to 550 guests for indoor-outdoor events, 210 for an indoor reception, 65 for an indoor, seated dinner, and up to 75 guests for an indoor wedding. Facility rental includes chairs, tables, glass, dishes, kitchen supplies, bar tables, catering staff, furniture, tents, non smoking and much more.

Wonderful Reception Venue, An Eventective User from Athens, Georgia

Our wedding reception was held at the Taylor-Grady House. The service was exceptional and they were prepared for any contingency. Fortunately the weather was beautiful and our guests were able to mingle inside and out. Everyone enjoyed the historic significance that the Taylor-Grady House has and they felt the warm Southern pride that radiated from it. Our wedding party agreed that the friendly and efficient staff went out of their way to make our day truly special. The Taylor-Grady staff personally dealt with the caterers, flowers and small band so there were no hidden surprises. Everything went smoothly and all the guests commented on what a relaxed, elegant and truly Southern experience it was for all.
