 7/15/2008 | | "INEPT", furious from Altamonte Springs, Florida | In my opinion Sunset Entertainment is the worst DJ Service I have ever, ever witnessed. Here are something’s that went wrong that day, and I was promised the stars. I would have done better if I had a friend DJ.
1. The DJ announced the changes to the wedding party entrance to the guest at the reception.
2. Then he botched up all the names on the wedding party list including Bride and Groom.
3. He messed up the order in which I wanted things done, like the garter toss and the cutting of the cake.
4. In the middle of the song with the entire wedding party Bride and groom and some family singing, he stopped the song and there was nothing but dead air.
5. I asked for easy listening, lite or even jazz to be played during dinner he played CALYPSO music.
Not to mention and this is just 6 of many of the things that were just ridiculously botched up on the one day I wanted not to have to worry about. When I asked him to cut the cake first instead of the garter toss he announced the garter toss and then told my guest "No there has been a change" were going to cut the cake.
When I called to speak to someone about the mess I had witnessed, I was sent a voucher for 3 hours free to only be used on the weekday. I have a sweet sixteen coming and my 5 friends are getting married who were at the reception, mind you I was bragging about this Service until I saw there work. Now I look like a fool, I will never use them again and I burnt the so called voucher. Trust me I would not have even given this place a star but I was required to or I would not be able to post this review. If you decide to use Sunset please make sure you invite a real DJ to step in at your reception.
