Wonderful food and polite and caring personnel.
The Texas Cattle Company located in Lakeland, FL is a great steak house. Not only do they have wonder in-house food, but they do a terrific job with a catered party. The manager's name is Grant. He will bring his portable smoker to your location upon request and cook onsite and serve your guests. I have personally used Grant and The Texas Cattle Company on more than one occasion for the office Christmas Party that is always held at our boss's home on the back patio near the pool. Grant and his wife, Donna are personal friends of the owners of the business I managed a few years ago and always provided a wonderful Christmas dinner experience for us with the portable smoker/bar-b-que. The menu was always the same by request. We had starters of marinated mushrooms, large tiger shrimp cocktail and bruschetta bread. Dinner consisted of Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail accompanied with baked potatoes and green beans almondine. Everything on the menu was absolutely delicious. Grant and Donna cooked, served and cleaned up before leaving for the evening. I would recommend The Texas Cattle Company for any occasion. Whether you choose to have them cater your occasion or decide to eat-in at the restaurant, you will not be disappointed with your choice.
