The Fort

The Fort, Morrison — The Fort is a full scale replica of Bent’s Fort, a well-known nineteenth century fur-trading post in southeastern Colorado that operated on the Santa Fe Trail from 1833 until 1849.  The Fort is the largest adobe building in the nation and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Fort features romantic dining rooms with cozy beehive fireplaces and a spacious outdoor patio that is perfect for your ceremony. The Main Dining Room with its large fireplaces, beamed ceiling, artwork of the old west and authentic mid-nineteenth century artifacts offers spectacular views of the foothills, the lights of Denver and the plains beyond.

The Fort, Morrison — The Tower seats up to 16 guests, comfort capacity is 10 guests. It houses a romantic beehive fireplace and an antler chandelier. The Tower is great for intimate dinners and small business meetings.

The Grill overlooks our main dining room, has a semi private outdoor patio and a spectacular view of Denver’s City lights.The Fort, Morrison — Bent’s Quarters is our only completely private space and seats up to 50 guests; comfort capacity is 40 guests.  It has access to our open air courtyard with a bonfire.  Bent’s Quarters has rare American Indian art and replicas of artifacts from the Bent’s Fort Trading Post and original timber ceilings.The Fort, Morrison — St. Vrain Council Room seats up to 115 guests; comfort capacity is 96 guests.  The space also has its own western bar.  St. Vrain has three French doors that open up to the courtyard and rare Edward Curtis 20th century photos of American Indians.The Fort, Morrison — Our North Dining room seats up to 120 guests.
