mise en place is an excellent choice for your next special event, whether it be a company team-building, corporate meeting, wedding rehearsal/shower/bachelor/bachelorette party, or birthday party! We offer both private and public classes, that we can customize based on your budget. We offer a unique experience that will keep your guests talking for years to come! Situated in a historic loft, mise en place is charming in its setting (see photos of our beautiful kitchen!). With exposed brick, wood beam ceilings and a comfy lounge area, the school exudes an atmosphere that is warm and inviting - making you feel as if you are preparing dinner in your own home. It is these surroundings that create an environment for learning that is both relaxed and engaging. mise en place is a delicious way to socialize and meet new friends who share your same passions! We don't offer culinary degrees or certification programs. We offer insight into the brilliant culinary minds of Denver! Our environment is very relaxing and fun. We're ideal for a wedding rehearsal since frequently the bridal party is younger but the attendees also include grandparents and family memmbers that may not have met the bridal party. You can choose whetherh to participate and learn in the kitchen, or simply have a glass of wine and watch the others cook. Rather than being confined to a formal dinner where you are constrained to conversation with the person across the table or on other side of you, you are free to socialize with the entire party! If budget is a concern, we can set up a chef and menu based on your preferences and then open up the class to the public. Either way, we'll ensure your guests have a fabulous time!

mise en place, Denver — mise en place offers Denver's largest gourmet kitchen with nearly 2000 square feet of kitchen space filled with gourmet residential equipment so you can go home and replicate the experience. We believe that cooking is more fun when you have the right equipment so we have stocked our kitchen with All-Clad pans, Wusthof knives and Kitchenaid appliances! Our max capacity is 60 students for a hands-on class but many classes operate with far fewer students for individualized attention! For demonstrations, we have 2 cameras to focus in on the chef so you can get an up close look at what they are demonstrating on a 42" monitor!
mise en place offers three 48" stainless steel ranges with gas burners and convection ovens for your cooking pleasure! We utilize Subzero refrigeration and beautiful granite countertops, as well as two 6' by 6' marble-topped bake islands for rolling doughs and sushi! You'll step into our kitchen and wish that you could cook in it everyday!
