This unusual venue is the perfect out-of–the ordinary setting for an off-site dinner, awards evening or special event! With a convenient downtown location and unique setting, the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum offers a great location for your next special, organizational or corporate event!
The Museum now features many unique exhibits and fluid event rental space including an outdoor patio. The outside area offers a covered patio for food preparation and serving as well as a water wheel and sluice, beautiful landscaped planters and open space for parties.
The Museum is available for private rentals from 6:00pm – 11:30pm Tuesday through Saturday. Entire occupancy for all three floors is 200 people. Due to the layout of the Museum, all rentals require full rental of the Museum. Only one group is able to rent out the Museum at a time. The rental fee is inclusive of: full use of the Museum’s three (3) floors (subject to availability); admission for all guests, up to the maximum occupancy set for each event; an event advisor to
coordinate all services and be on-site during your entire event and use of existing electrical outlets, utilities and all public amenities. Additional staffing for supervision of the museum property may be required for certain groups, at an additional cost to the Renter.
