Description
The Butler and the Chef is the only authentic French bistro in San Francisco. It is conveniently located in beautiful, historic South Park, an easy walk from the Museum of Modern Art, Yerba Buena Center, Moscone Center, and SBC Park. The Butler and the Chef was opened in 2001 by Georges Blum and acquired March 1st, 2004 by Joel Martin and Wayne Miller. It offers a variety of authentic French Bistro dishes prepared daily.
It uses only the freshest and highest quality ingredients available, including many items imported from France.
Elegant yet comfortable facilities,
professionally accomplished and friendly wait staff and unique and delicious banquet menu provide for a perfect choice for a wide range of potential private functions. The Butler & The Chef Bistro can accomodate 45 people for a sit-down dinner and as many as 75 for a reception/buffet style event.

The entire restaurant is available to clients in the evenings (we are not regularly open for dinner). Make capacity for sit-down dinner is 40, receptions have exceded 100. A very unique private, intimate setting with easy evening parking on the street.
