 8/8/2011 | | "Solid, Capable, Reliable DJ in Los Angeles", An Eventective User from Los Angeles, CA | | DJ Tim Benter runs this solid company out of his offices in Hermosa Beach, California, and he will travel anywhere in the Los Angeles area for your wedding or event. Tim has been DJ-ing weddings for 30 years, and we hired him personally, though he also has 7 other DJs working at his company who you can hire if he is not available personally. We hired Tim for our wedding after seeing and hearing him at another wedding reception. He will meet with you for free at his offices to discuss what you want and his availability. Tim follows directions well, and he did so to the letter for our wedding, our cockail hour, and our reception. If you are very cost-conscious, he will provide a professional sound system and all the music you want on an ipod for only $195. He otherwise provides competitive DJ prices for various sizes of events. (See his site at 877djstogo.com). You are definitely buying reliability and our experience is that you will be getting exactly what you want. For our wedding ceremony itself, I found particular versions of the classical music that we wanted and provided digital copies to him; for our reception, we gave him a "play" and a "do not play" list, and otherwise let him fill in the blanks. All went perfectly. |
