INFORMATION
Menu Selection
Montclair Bistro offers an array of prix fixe, buffet, banquet, and hors d’oeuvres menu options.
Please start by selecting the option and then the appetizers, entrees, and desserts which correspond with that option. We can customize a menu that will accommodate your budget and any special needs.
*An additional $3.50 per person cake service fee will be charged for any cakes brought in by client or outside vendor.
Beverages
All beverages including wine, liquor, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and tea are an additional cost. $15 corkage fee applies per 750 ml bottle. Wine requests should be made at least 7 days in advance to ensure availability.
Deposits, Cancellations and Guarantee
A deposit of $500 and a signed contract is required to hold the room; the deposit will be applied to your final bill. Full payment is due 7 days before your event.
If cancellation of the event occurs less than 14 days prior to the scheduled date, 25% of the total deposits will be charged. If cancellation occurs less than 48 hours of the scheduled date, 50% of the total deposits will be charged.
We accept check, cash and credit card payments for private dining events. A service fee will be added for credit card payments: AMEX- 5%, VISA- 4%, and MASTERCARD - 3%.
Guest Count and Minimum
Attendance must be confirmed 72 hours in advance prior to event date. This number will be considered your guarantee.
After 72 hours, we can only accept increases in this number. The final guest count will be confirmed via phone, fax or email 72 hours to the event. This confirmed guest count will be considered the minimum in finalizing your bill.
We prepare for an estimated 5% over guest count. Anything above 5% of guest count will accrue additional fees.
Gratuity and Taxes
A 20% service charge on food, bar, and other special requests (floral, décor and rentals) will be added to your bill. State and local taxes apply.
Additional Services
Choose from our special collection of colorful linen to liven any occasion. Floral arrangements and decorative centerpieces can be custom designed for your event. Please consult with our Event Sales Manager for prices.
Personalized menus can be printed for your guests with company name or message compliments of Montclair Bistro. Please provide us with your menu title.
All décor and floral arrangement orders must be made 7 days prior to the event date and 14 days during peak/holiday season.
*A non-refundable deposit of half the total costs for the floral arrangements and decorative centerpieces are required at time of order.
Audio/visual equipment and other special arrangements can be made with at least 7 days advance notice and 14 days during peak/holiday season.
