About The Oakland Scottish Rite Center

Situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Merritt, the Oakland Scottish Rite Center is located near downtown Oakland and just a short ride from San Francisco. With space available for up to 1300 participants in our auditorium or 720 attendees enjoying our Grand Ballroom along with the Banquet room, Blue, Red and Gold meeting rooms ranging in size from 125 to 300. It is the perfect venue for corporate meetings, receptions, concerts, personal celebrations, and Fairy Tale weddings.

Great venue and even greater security team - An Eventective User from Richmond , California

This venue is amazing. The hall is spacious and beautiful . They provided a list of things such as tables, chairs, linen, chargers, and dishware. Leanne is the one who will provide information about pricing and so on. She is very helpful. This hall also has a good lighting technician. They have a security team and this is what really makes this venue great. The security team are extremely helpful and if any of the outside vendors you get mess up or do a bad job the security team is there to help you try to figure out how to fix it. They don’t have to help but they want their clients to have a good event. I am not saying they are always able to help but the fact is they try and are present. Erma is the supervisor and I am making sure this review reflects that my event ran smoothly because of Erma, Mario, and the rest of the security team.
