The Terrace Room at The Lake Merritt Hotel is the most enchanting catering venue in the City of Oakland. Our panoramic view encompasses the blue-green of Lake Merritt and the lush Oakland hills. A special treat for evening events is the Necklace of Lights, which is a chain of lights on ornate Victorian light poles that surround the entire lake. We provide all food & beverage. To reserve The Terrace Room for your private function for a Saturday or Sunday, there is a minimum purchase of $8000.00. (Not including gratuity). The Terrace Room rental is $1500.00 for a five hour block of time. The Terrace Room is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 4:00pm to 11:00pm. Wedding Ceremonies can be held indoors for $300.00 per hour. The Terrace Room is also available for conferences, meetings, luncheons, anniversary parties, retirement celebrations and many more special events throughout the week.
